Occupation Permit<\/span><\/h1>\n

The Occupation Permit (OP) is a combined work and residence permit which allows foreign nationals to work and reside in Mauritius under 3 specific categories namely:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Investor including Investor for innovative start-ups; <\/span>
\n2. Professional; and <\/span>
\n3. Self-Employed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Foreign nationals, above the age of 50 years, may also choose to retire in Mauritius as retired non-citizens. These foreign nationals will be issued with a Residence Permit as Retired Non-Citizens.<\/span><\/p>\n

An Occupation Permit (Investor and Self-employed) and Residence Permit as Retired Non Citizen shall be issued for a maximum period of ten years, and may be renewed thereafter in accordance to the established criteria.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
